ABOUT amy &
Asproductions inc.
Amy Stewart is a professional artist and filmmaker with over two decades of experience across photography, music, and film. She began her artistic journey as a professional photographer and classically trained pianist, capturing musicians and artists while performing in bands. Her deep appreciation for visual and performing arts naturally led her to filmmaking, where she found a passion for producing and directing.
After studying Photography and Design at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design, Amy moved to Toronto, gaining experience as a photography assistant and working on the PAX Network series Doc. Upon returning to New Brunswick, she became a sought-after lifestyle and commercial photographer before transitioning into film. She joined Hemmings House Pictures as an Executive Producer and Head of Corporate Content, producing, writing, and directing commercials and corporate films for brands such as BMW, Irving Oil, and New Brunswick Tourism.
Now the owner of ASProductions Inc., Amy collaborates with top industry professionals behind or in front of the camera as a Producer and Director. She recently worked as a Travel Coordinator on the NBC/Syfy series Revival and is currently in pre-production for her first narrative horror short and in post-production on her debut documentary—both of which she is writing, producing, and directing.
Beyond film, Amy is an accomplished musician. Her band, Something French, will release their debut studio album L E M O N S in spring 2025 through Monopolized Records and is also developing the soundtrack for her upcoming horror short.
Amy was one of 6 photographers chosen from New Brunswick, CA to be a contestant on “Shutterspeed: Photography Challenge Season 2" a television series for Bell Fibe. READ MORE HERE
